Mayur Vansia is a material scientist with over 30 years of experience in the textile industry and has a passion for solving problems. He has extensive knowledge of textile development, polymers, adhesives, and bonding. Mayur’s research and development can be found in products such as garments, wearable technology, and other consumer goods. As a veteran of companies like SPANX and Victoria’s Secret, he is skilled in innovating textiles in order to solve consumer problems that deliver growth for the company. In addition, he has five patents. Mayur is excited to help others solve their problems and partner them with his vast network of industry connections.

Dr. Tushar K. Shah is a highly experienced material scientist with an extensive wealth of knowledge in Polymers, Metals, Composites, Adhesives, Coatings, Paints and Primers. He has worked on numerous products associated with Defense, Aerospace, Automotive, Consumer Electronics, and Energy Storage. Tushar has researched, developed and implemented breakthrough solutions that significantly contribute to the expansion and enhancements of many products. He is an extremely skilled inventor of next-generation technology with revolutionary impact that sustains and even strengthens profitability. Tushar is a “Hands-On” scientist that transitions ideas and products from inception through production processes. His accomplishments and ingenuity have earned him over 50 US patents as well as over 125 international patents. Tushar Shah is a motivating team player that thrives under diversity and inclusion.

Dr. Shunichi Hayashi received his B.S. degree in Industrial Chemistry from Kanazawa University and immediately joined Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd., working on polymer development specializing in the polymerization of super heat resistant polymers.  While at at Mitsubishi, Dr. Hayashi also led the innovative effort for the development of Polyurethane Shape Memory Polymers, which has been in progress now for 17 years. He was responsible for all research, development, and applications of SMPs at Mitsubishi. He has published more than 100 technical papers and holds 219 patents worldwide. In 2001, he also received a Ph.D. from Kanazawa University and is one of the international committee members of the International Smart Materials Society.   After retirement from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd., in 2008, he established a new company, SMP Technologies Inc., http://www.smptechno.com, on his own. His company specializes not only in the Shape Memory Polymer field, but also in other polymer sciences.   Now, he is active in both academics and in business.
